As usual a hero intro, couple of duets, one kuthu & one karuthu song - Anushka is worth an intro song ;-)

Fortunately no flashback or getup change - ithula yethu na onnu irunthalum, thalaphy darrr aayirupparrruuuu...

and

A mass hero at his usual best - can dance, romance, deliver dialogues & comedy !

Ithukku maela sollurathu onnum illa - of course, "really bad" villains /"mama" police / "crazy" friend are all things you got to getaway with !

in short, this is a simple entertiner meant for simple hearts !

Checked out this movie this noon (given some good opinion from Nari)...

Not bad at all - could've been nice if a better hero had acted with less commercial compromises...

But in fact, it was lot better than the so called "first james bond movie in tamil" or movies from "actor who got nothing but ass"...

Some comments:

Good:
Rajeev Krishna & especially the voice (not sure if it was his own)
Slick acting by Surya (with beard look)
good thriller sequences
director got some brain - could see it from showing that villains too got brains

Bad:
Songs, costume & dance by surya (pls don't try to compete with the likes of vijay)
Irrelevant masala scenes

dindigul: my soul is always here - family makes it sweet & frends make it spicy...

kodaikanal: my fave spot - if you've not been here, pack up & get there (anything & everything can be arranged)

chennai: singara chennai - best part of my life was spent here - was able to feed our teen interests though i'd not say life was beautiful & all

singapore: i'm here now by choice or on transit as Keerthi said - probably best place to work - can't be any better if you need a safe & decent living

coimbatore: gains importance in line with my retirement plan - kinda advanced version of dindigul

london: my first abroad destination - not for typical indian like me...

bangalore: most of my buddies live here - includes "the latest sweet one" too !

Dubai / HK / Tokyo / Phuket / KL: sweeteners to life...of course, best part was being with friends :)

Pattaya: something different - need to know more, better ask Lingesh/Kannan/Veda/Prabu ;-)

tribute to a friend

life has always been easy with me - every transition of mine was supported in the best way possible...and when i decided to move to singapore, it was even easier

at the age where friends get apart, we got along - sweet were those days (could get senti here but thatz the least expected from me, so jus skip it)

well...he's one among the 'esteemed gang' who managed to keep me away from girls (many guess'ed me to be otherwise)

but guess what, he couldn't keep himself away from one - the special one - dude, you're definitely lucky and blessed ! - of course, she's damned enough to have you :)

in all, you'll always be special to me !

felt that it's a shame that Federer had to cry but it's really a question if he'd be able to win Nadal agian (ever). True champions (which he definitely is) will definitely bounce back and it can't be any better if he does it with French open. Nadal, you better watch out !

company share had bounced back after some promise on last quarter result - there's still some hope for bonus !

23: Saw "Changeling" - decent movie (Clint Eastwood is definitely one of the greats)
24: lousy day - spent few hrs with PMP prep (really not sure why I'm doing this)
25: Prabhu, Sudha & Nidhi were on transit and took them around SGP
Saw "INKHEART" - strangely fantasies doesn't fancy me
26: India celebrates republic day / Chinese new year (Gong Xi Fa Chi)
again lousy day with book & tv

have never been this inactive during holidays...wish all my buddies were here !

(inspired by "abhium naanum")

when i asked for a bike, after lot of fuss I got it only in 11th (probably he thought i was still a kid then)

he wanted me to study in PSG, Coimbatore - but I clearly said Anna University is where i will study (something like "I know what I'm doing"...)

the way he handled things did show his fear/faith/love - call from a strange girl, hostel expulsion, my first accident...etc - well, couple of times i was advised too - to keep away from mischievous friends - you know who i mean ;-)

and now I've started behaving like a grown up asking to take decisions as i wish (heard him say to his friend "avan kitta pesavey ippoe bayama irukku pa")

truly, i can't compete him in any aspect of life - still i'm proud about the confidence he has on me - i'll definitely fulfill one of his hearty wish and make him prouder !

having thought about all this, life is (indeed) beautiful !

After having said bye to 2008 in a gracious manner (no club, no party)

started the new year with the special activity reserved for special day(s) - guess what...

prayer @ temple - both thanked and sought blessings from the almighty to keep going with self-confidence (oxymoron...nah)

sorta lull for the year's first day but that's the sorta peace i guess everyone wants.

alrite - game's on and spirit is up - no shy, no fume (if you don't understand this, be that then)
